Love to play in my sewing room. Especially enjoy stitcheries, English paper piecing and applique...and sometimes the machine gets a run. But most of all I enjoy stitching and chatting over a cup of tea with the girls.

FNwF and The Circle Game
After a long break, it’s good to be back. I’ve been working on Jen Kingwell’s The Circle Game for a while now. It my first hand pieced quilt project, and while I’m loving that aspect, I can’t say I have the same affection fo all the curves 😂😂
Hand piecing will always be a bit slow . . .but hopefully its mostly enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm so pleased to see you blog...... Have you got that circle finished yet?
ReplyDeleteI understand about the curves. It will be worth it when you see it finished.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with those curves.
ReplyDeleteI love to hand piece but that looks like a VERY CHALLENGING pattern. Good luck and I look forward to watching you progress!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you blog post! Love what you are doing.
ReplyDeletelooks like a lovely project, very pretty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love hand sewing too but not curves. I started a drunkard's path project one year. Made good progress but quit it. Enjoy the peace.
ReplyDeleteI have this pattern waiting for me I hope you post your progress slow and steady enjoy the process!
